Imagine Stone Cold Steve Austin with his partners Bo and Luke Duke in a parking lot brawl on a Saturday night set to music! Then you have Scattered Hamlet. With equal parts Motorhead and Lynyrd Skynrd combined with full throttle punk rock attitude, Scattered Hamlet has been gaining traction through relentless touring and major festival appearances across the United States. Though maybe not the traditional active rock format, Scattered Hamlet appeals to fans of Down, Clutch, Blackstone Cherry, Weedeater, Nashville Pussy, Blacktop Mojo, Texas Hippie Coalition, Alabama Thunderpussy, Jackyl and Maylene and The Son’s of Disaster. With their outlaw vibe, blue collar work ethic, pop sensibility and down to earth accessibility, this drifting roadhouse band is poised to plow through any obstacles that get in their way.
According to frontman and primary songwriter, Adam Joad, “We’re gonna do what they said can’t be done... Smokey and the Bandit style.”
